The task of increase in a livestock of the Yakut breed of KRS was exceeded by cattle breeders of Yakutia

The head of Yakutia, Aysen Nikolaev, set to republican cattle breeders the purpose to increase quantity of the Yakut breed of cattle to 3000 heads, including 1000 uterus. Thanks to joint efforts of GPK RS "Yakut Cattle", basic farms, farmers and personal subsidiary farms, the objective was exceeded. For October 1, 2023 the number of the Yakut breed of KRS in the republic reached 3 101 heads from which 1 159 are milk cows. The Yakut Cattle organization is the holder of 42% of all Yakut animals.
