Language checks to Latvia irritate teachers — labor union

Public service qualities of educations (GSKO) in September sent to the Center of a State Language (CSL) information on 12 teachers, whose level of proficiency in a state language can not conform to requirements of regulations. GSKO urged TsGYa to carry out inspections of level of proficiency by state language of these teachers, in turn the Latvian Union of Self-managements (LUSM) and the Latvian labor union of workers of educations and science (LPRON) urge to organize "visits more favorable for educational institutions".
