Предыстория: Мэр Бодайбо и района заявился на праймериз "Единой России" перед выборам в ЗС 27 апреля завершилась процедура выдвижения кандидатов на предварительное голосование "Единой России". В связи с готовящимися выборами в Законодательное Собрание Иркутской области подали заявления 343 человека. Из них 188 — мужчины, 155 женщины. Молодых людей (до 35 лет) — 83 человека. 343 участника ПГ подали 464 заявления: допускается выдвигать свою кандидатуру на предварительное голосование и по одномандатному округу, и по территориальной группе.
