More than one hundred countries approved the agreement on protection of the World Ocean according to which by 2030 of 30% of the ocean become the protected territory. Discussions on achievement of the agreement were in total conducted more than ten years, reports BBC News. It was succeeded to reach the agreement by results of negotiations in headquarters of United Nations in New York which passed on March 3 and lasted 38 hours.
