Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation approved amendments about appointment of the chairman of Audit Chamber

Powers to destination and to release from a position of the head of Audit Chamber will belong to Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation not only on the basis of the Constitution — to the existing profile law made similar amendments. They were approved by chamber of regions at plenary session on December 14. Earlier these questions were under authority of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation. The chamber for six years elected the chairman on representation of the president. In 2020 this right according to the updated Constitution passed to Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.
