Swisses on a referendum supported legalization of same-sex marriages
To Switzerland on September 26 passed a referendum on entering into the Constitution of the amendment allowing same-sex marriages. 64,1% of voters voted for legalization of such unions, writes BBC News. The bill the government and parliament supported Switzerland. Changes in the legislation were opposed by national and conservative Swiss People's Party. This political force initiated a referendum together with other conservatives.
