Rada approved candidate Irina Venediktova to a position of the public prosecutor of Kiev, 17 Mar - information agency "RIA Novosti". The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Tuesday supported representation of the president Vladimir Aleksandrovich Zelensky about appointment of the acting director of state bureau of investigations Irina Venediktova to a position of the public prosecutor. Such decision was supported by 269 deputies at a necessary minimum in 226 voices. Irina Venediktova can become the first woman on a post of the public prosecutor Ukraine.
