Debt "Slovana" makes nearly 800 thousand euros or 60 million rubles, informs hokej.sk, referring to the Slovak news TASR edition. At the end of January "Slovan" had to pay to the city more than 1 million euros, however subsequently extinguished only a half of this sum.
"It is the first case when "Slovan" does not pay so long, a debt in 800 thousand. euro – the huge sum for municipality, a lack of these of money can force us to the knees and make bankrupt the city hall as independent authority" — the mayor Ivo Nesrovnal declared.
"Slovan" asked for the city a delay until the end of September, however municipality to decide to submit claim.
