Yakutsk. May 30. INTERFAX — the FAR EAST — the Preliminary extent of damage from a high water to Sakha (Yakutia) Republic exceeds 1,2 billion rubles, the acting the head of the region Aysen Nikolaev declared.

"Already estimated damage — 1,19 billion rubles. The damage on settlements Kobyaysky, Serdnekolymsky, Verkhnekolymsky ulus is not counted yet" — Aysen Nikolaev told on Wednesday to journalists.

He noted that as a result "a destructive flood" thousands people lost property, the set of houses suffered, hundreds kilometers of local, municipal, regional roads are destroyed.

of the Acting chapter Sakha (Yakutia) Republic also noted that the first decree signed by it on a new post, is connected with overcoming of consequences of a high water.

"I gave concrete instructions to republican authorities, first of all, to Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), according to the immediate solution of those problems which are today. Is there and recommendations in bodies of the federal authority which Sakha (Yakutia) Republic act on the territory, regarding overcoming of the consequences, to managing subjects, municipalities" — Aysen Nikolaev noted.
