International Olympic Committee (International Olympic Committee) disqualified for doping of the champion of the Olympic Games 2008 and 2012 on weightlifting of the Kazakhstan citizen Ilyin Ilya and deprived of awards, the press service of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) reported Kasakhstan.

"According to the decision of the disciplinary commission International Olympic Committee, by results of additional research of tests "And" and "In" the Kazakhstan weight-lifter, the winner of the summer Olympic Games of 2008 in Beijing and Games of 2012 in London in weight category to 94 kg Ilyin Ilya is disqualified from last Games, his results are cancelled and withdrawn awards", – NOC Kasakhstan is told in the message on a site .

In the formal notice received by NOC Kasakhstan, it is said also that the decision on the term of disqualification will be made by the International federation of weightlifting (IWF).

International Olympic Committee in May, 2016 initiated recheck of the doping tests taken in time of two previous summer Olympic Games. This wave of rechecks already led to disqualification and cancellation of results of a great number of the athletes speaking at the Olympic Games-2008 in Beijing and 2016 Summer Olympics in London.

So, on October 11 International Olympic Committee deprived gold the Olympic champion of 2012 the thrower of a hammer Boloborodova Tatyana (Lysenko).

Besides, on October 6 International Olympic Committee deprived of a bronze medal of the Olympic Games of 2008 the Russian jumper in height Chicherova Anna after recheck of doping tests.

On August 31 International Olympic Committee deprived the Russian weight-lifters Yevstyukhina Nadezhda and Shainova Marina bronze and Olympic Games-2008 silver in Beijing after recheck of doping tests.

In September four Russian athletes <= "http://vz.ru/news/2016/9/13/832263.html"> were convicted by a href of doping after recheck from the Olympic Games 2008 and 2012.

In May International Olympic Committee LLC "OKR", Olympic committee Russia, ROC notified that 14 Russian athletes are suspected of application of the forbidden preparations at the Games of 2008 after recheck of doping tests.

In total following the results of two waves of rechecks International Olympic Committee were revealed the forbidden substances at 98 athletes acting on OI-2008 (60 positive tests) and OI-2012 (38). It was thus noted that following the results of the second wave tests of 23 medallists of Games yielded positive result.

All for the repeated analysis 1243 doping tests from the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008) and London (2012) were selected.
