The Russian athletes deprived of OI gold - 2008

As daily business newspaper "Vedomosti" , such decision was made after recheck of doping tests because of positive result of the runner Chermoshanskaya Julia at which traces of two forbidden preparations – stenozolola and degidrokhlormetiltestosterona (turinabola) were found.

LLC "OKR", Olympic committee Russia, ROC has to return to p as soon as possible sets of the medals received in running of 4kh100 m by the Russian runners. Chermoshanskaya Julia in relay won gold together with Polyakova Eugenie, Fedoriva Alexander and Gushchina Julia, overcome a distance in 42,31 seconds. The national team Belgium (42,54) with which now passes a title of the winner became the silver prize-winner. The third place was won by Nigerian team (43,04).

Before International Olympic Committee carried out two waves of rechecks of the doping tests taken at the Olympic Games in Beijing and London. From the rechecked 1243 tests, 98 yielded positive result. Among the last 60 Beijing and 38 London. Following the results of recheck of tests of participants of the Olympic Games-2008 tests of 14 Russian athletes, 11 of which — athletes showed positive result.
