According to department, the death toll delivers 655 people, more than 29 thousand remain in temporary shelters. Thus from under blockages live 113 inhabitants were taken.
Help to Ecuador was given by 27 states. On Saturday near the capital of Ecuador of Quito there took place a meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Union of the South American nations (Union of South American Nations). According to the Foreign Minister of Ecuador Guillaume Long, the organization agreed to continue to give help of the victim from an earthquake to the country.
Tremors measuring 7,8 were recorded in Ecuador in the evening on April 16. Epicenter settled down in 28 kilometers to the southeast from the settlement of Muisne. The seismic center lay at a depth of 20,2 kilometers. From a brunt of the disaster multystoried hotels, restaurants, houses collapsed.
Most provinces Esmeraldas, Manabi, Santo - Domingo - los-Tsachilas, Guayas, Santa-Elena and Los-Rios suffered. The president of Ecuador Rafael Correa declared on Saturday that will sign the decree about the announcement of eight-day mourning for victims.
