On December 17, 2023 to Serbia extraordinary parliamentary elections in National Assembly (country parliament) took place. Also elections at the local level, including vote in Belgrade both other large cities and country municipalities were held also. Initially elections were planned for April, 2026, however the decision on early vote for a number of reasons was made. It should be noted that the previous elections passed relatively recently — in April, 2022 and had general character.
