Shortage of labor on the Korean shipyards compensate delivery blocks from China

HD Hyundai Heavy Industries Co., Ltd for the first time in the 50-year history considers possibility of import of blocks for constructions trade vessels from China. Still all blocks were made for civil shipbuilding by the Korean partners of HD HHI. Use of the Chinese subcontractors is connected with shortage of labor on the Korean shipyards.
