The president of Lithuania approved the budget providing increase of a defense expenditure

The president of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda on Wednesday approved the budget for 2024 in which possibility of increase of a defense expenditure is provided. The head of state reported about it, his words are provided on a site of the president of Lithuania. "However, the government heard some criticism and improved the budget. I appreciate that in the budget opportunity to increase financing of national defense next year if there are conditions" is provided — declared Gitanas Nauseda.
