Eugenia Chikunova and Muslim Gadzhimagomedov became winners of the National sports award. The swimmer won against Eugenia Chikunova (rhythmic gymnastics) and Victoria Listunova (gymnastics). The boxer Muslim Gadzhimagomedov won the similar nomination as the athlete of year, having outstripped the swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov and a fristaylist Burov Maxime.
