Phonetic competition in NF PGU

On November 23 in our branch traditional phonetic competition among first-year students took place. Since 2003 it is carried out at the end of November when students finish an introduction and remedial course of phonetic preparation. In competition tasks for examination according to the theory and practice of English phonetics are provided: competition on knowledge of homophones, a sketch instsenization, competition tongue twisters, episode scoring from the movie, performances of the song in English, etc. This year groups 101-103 united to resist to the rivals from 102 groups on quantity.
