"Palace" crept imperceptibly: apocalypse rehearsal in the New Year's comedy Roman Polanski

Action of the new movie Roman Polanski occur on December 31, 1999 in magnificent Swiss hotel "Palace", and the director tries to involve "Y2K problem" as a source of comic situations. However, as a result this far-fetched "doomsday" is blown off with the same loud cotton, as the balloons decorating this boring New Year's party. As a whole "Palace" makes such impression as though you foolishly bought the permit to a New Year's party in rest house which in practice was not so such luxurious as advertized.
