To Japan found a hiding place with 2000-year coins

During excavation on archaeological object of Sosha Village East 03 in the city of Maebashi in the north Japan, archeologists found a hiding place in which found more than 100 000 ancient coins. Some of them are dated more than 2000 years ago. Among the found coins there are coins Ban Liang — the first unified currency China, and also other coins dated by the VII-XIII centuries. Coins were strung on the rope weaved from rice straw, on about 100 pieces. The total of such sheaves makes 1060 pieces.
