To Japan found a hiding place with 2000-year coins

During excavation on archaeological object of Sosha Village East 03 in the city of Maebashi in the north Japan, archeologists found a hiding place in which found more than 100 000 ancient coins. Some of them are dated more than 2000 years ago. Among the found coins there are coins Ban Liang — the first unified currency China, and also other coins dated by the VII-XIII centuries. Coins were strung on the rope weaved from rice straw, on about 100 pieces. The total of such sheaves makes 1060 pieces. Coins were found near houses which belonged to important people to Japan in the Middle Ages...
