The most ancient coin dated 175 B.C. It had the Chinese origin. Archeologists found a hiding place with 100 thousand coins in the city Maebashi in Japan. Excavation was carried out on a place of constructions future factory. Experts dug out a site of 60 cm in depth and about a meter wide and saw 1060 linking of coins on 100 pieces in everyone. Coins were tied up by a straw rope. Archeologists investigated 334 coins. They had a different origin and were dated the different periods of time.
