The Spanish archeologists from Valyadolidsky universities came to a conclusion that the first large-scale war in Europe happened on 1 thousand years earlier, than was considered before. Research is published in the scientific edition "Scientific Reports" (SciRep). Earlier was considered that the earliest similar conflict in Europe occurred in a bronze age about 4 thousand and 2,8 thousand years ago. But the repeated analysis age about 5 thousand years allowed to assume more than 300 skeletons that many of these people, probably, became victims of the earliest period of wars in Europe.
