Belgium will try to store hydrogen in UGS in a water-bearing layer

Belgium begins experiment on studying of possibility of underground storage hydrogen, the national gas transmission operator of Fluxys reported. Experiments will be made in underground storage in Lenkhauta to Province of Antwerp. As partners of Fluxys in these researches the French Geostock and University Ghent act. In the message it is emphasized that it will be first-ever experiment on downloading hydrogen in water-bearing layer. UGS Fluxys Loenhout constructed in a water-bearing layer works since 1985.
