Electric connection of ultrahigh tension between Region of Peloponnese and Region of Western Greece] is put into operatio

After a successful conclusion of trial operation it is entered into work of the high voltage line of 400 kV the Megalopolis – Patras – the Western Region of Central Greece between the peninsula Region of Peloponnese and the western part Region of Central Greece. Construction was carried out by the high voltage line within the Western Corridor project. The Western Corridor project provided construction the air and underground high voltage lines, and also the first in Greece underwater in C of 400 kV through the gulf Patraikos between the northwest coast Region of Peloponnese and the southern coast of Region of Western Greece.
