The passenger plane for the first time landed on Northern Kuriles

The passenger plane for the first time landed in Severo-Kurilsk on October 19. The An-28 aircraft An-28, capable to transport to 16 people, arrived from Petropavlovsk Kamchatka. It became possible thanks to construction a new runway, reported in the press service of Government of Sakhalin region. The minister and road economy Valery Spichenko reminded transports of the task set by the governor — to restore and expand network of airfields earlier operating in the island region.
