New research assumes that the altar stone in Stonehendge was created not from old red sandstone of the English-Welsh pool as was considered earlier. The altar stone designated as the Stone 80, represents lying central megalitas in a monument Stonehendge relating to a phase 3i, approximately in 2600 B.C.
