On October 1 – the International Teachers' Day

Annually on the first Sunday of October in Belarus the Teachers' Day is celebrated. This professional holiday is fixed in the Decree President of the Republic Belarus by No. 157 of March 26, 1998 "About the state holidays, holidays and memorials in Belarus". In Belarus the educational sphere is given the state value. And it is not casual. On an index of level of education our country takes the 32nd place in the world. And on such indicator as "Access to basic knowledge" we are on the 17th place among 163 states. Educational process never costs...
