World boxing council declared the list of the boxers who have become owners of honorary titles of this organization in 2009. Vitali Klitschko became "The world champion of 2009" in the version of the World boxing council (WBC). Owners of honorary titles were defined by vote of employees of WBC, journalists and fans of boxing. Official delivery of awards will take place in February at a special ceremony.
