Russian Federation imposed in UN Security Council the veto on the draft resolution France and United Arab Emirates about extension of sanctions against Mali, the correspondent of Federal state unitary enterprise RAMI "RIA Novosti" reports. The document assumed extension of the sanctions mode entered in 2017, for a year — till August 31, 2024. Besides, it was offered to prolong till September 30, 2024 work of the group of experts of sanctions committee of UN Security Council who watches how restrictions are executed, and also defines whom to include in the sanctions list.
