Today near Kursk there began work the selection and seed-growing center for production seeds of agricultural cultures. Its start has to reduce dependence of agrarian and industrial complex on import of seeds. Power of productions almost 30 thousand tons per year. The total cost of the project made more than 830 million rubles. 34 workplaces are created. The complex is intended for creation of domestic grades of agricultural plants and processing, preparation and storage of seeds and landing materials to domestic selection.
