The Singapore Meranti will construct DRI plant in Thailand

Company Meranti Green Steel registered in Singapore, will construct in Thailand plant of direct restoration iron (DRI). The enterprise will be placed to Province of Rayong in the east of the country, its start is planned for the second half of 2027. Capacities of plant will reach 2 million t a year. The equipment for it will be put by the Italian Danieli.
