The national team Greece reduced structure to 14 players

Some days before friendly tournament to Abu Dhabi the national team Greece expelled two players from preliminary structure on the World Cup. The federation of basketball Greece declared that Konstantinos Papanikolau Adetokumbo and Vassilis Toliopulos will not take part in ChM-2023. Adetokumbo underwent an operation on a knee and will not manage to be restored to tournament. Greece will carry out to Abu Dhabi two friendly matches – against United States of America (on August 18) and Germany (on August 19).
