President of the Republic Belarus Alexander Lukashenko during a ceremony in "Minsk Arena" declared II Games of CIS countries opened, reports Belarusian cable agency "Belta". The official part of the opening ceremony of Games began with solemn lifting of flags Belarus and Commonwealth of Independent States. Under sounds of the National anthem the Belarusian colors were hoisted by eminent athletes – the double Olympic champion in rowing Karsten Catherina, the Olympic champion in trampolining Yvan Litvinovich and the Olympic champion in rowing on a canoe pair Alexander Maseykov.
