On a cup-final Russian Federation on swimming which passes to Kazan, the Russian swimmer Kliment Kolesnikov established a world record on the 50th meters on a back. Kliment Kolesnikov in a semifinal heat showed time of 23,55 seconds. The record Kliment Kolesnikov is subject to ratification of the International federation of water sports (World Aquatics). The former record belonged to the American Armstrong Khanter (23,71) and was established in April 2022 at competitions to Greensboro.
