The rival of kostanaysky "Tobol" in the second selection round of League of conferences of UEFA became the football club "Basel" representing the city of the same name from Switzerland and founded in November, 1893. For teams it will be already the second Eurocup opposition which will happen 17 years later. In 2006 "Tobol" and "Basel" which have won in the championships of the countries silver medals, met in the first qualification round UEFA Champions League.
