The British company Vertical Aerospace for the first time tested an electric air taxi of VX4 in free flight, though without pilot in a cabin. The device with vertical take off and landing flew by some distance at a speed of 70 km/h that for the first test it is possible to consider as success. However, development continues to suffer from delays, and certification is postponed since 2024 for the end of 2026.
