Expression "rubles bank notes" is well known to all on the Russian classical literature of the first half of the XIX century. Emergence to Russian Federation the first paper money — bank notes — was perceived as introduction in practice of the best European practices in banking. But then notes started growing in quantity and to lose in price. Over time they turned into one of the main problems in economy of the Russian Empire.
