The quantity of earthquakes to Turkey for this year reached 53 000

Meteorologists decided to carry out the general statistics and to collect data concerning what quantity of earthquakes occurred to Turkey since the beginning of this year. By their calculations since January 1 to Turkey already managed to record 52 993 earthquakes measuring from 4 points. The most powerful of them were what happened in February of this year and carried away huge number of lives. Seismologists from Ghazi's University Gazi during the period recorded from January 1 to June 30 to Turkey 669 earthquakes measuring 4.0 — 4.9, 58 — with power from 5.0 to 5.9 points, two — measuring from 6.0 to 6.9 and two more — from 7.0 to 7.9.
