According to the research published in edition "Scientific Reports", the woman, instead of the man as was considered earlier was the person with the highest status in ancient society of the Copper Age in Iberia. From the moment of detection in 2008 the skeleton of the high-ranking person buried in a tomb on the Iberian Peninsula between 3200 and 2200 years ago, was considered as remains of the man. However the new analysis shows that actually it there was a woman. The Spanish archeologists christened the woman "the lady from an ivory" because of a set of the subjects found near her skeleton, including a tusk of an elephant around...
