The ninefold world champion in sambo the Russian Osipenko Artem became the winner of Gran-pri in Krasnodar in weight category over 98 kg. 35-year-old Osipenko Artem which the triple champion Europe also is and the winner of the European games of 2015, overcame the compatriot Brachev Anton. Bronze medals were won by Russian Vatsilov Davudov and Kazakh Nurymzhan Gabbasov. In five more weight categories victories were won also by Russians: to 58 kg – Tlishev Harun, to 64 kg – Mnatsakanyan Vladimir, to 71 kg – Tursunov Ali, to 79 kg – Lukanin Yvan and Abazov Aslan.
