Vegetable cultures are in the region on the area of 19, 9 thousand hectares that for 17% exceeds a last year's indicator. The tasks of work in agronomical terms were set by the head of the region Andrey Bocharov at meeting of regional operational headquarters. Sowing is already complete in 16 of 20 areas Volgograd Region. Experts needed to place now only a radish, beet, cabbage and late carrots. Also in 2023 the area sowed by pumpkin and a vegetable marrow – in comparison with last season increased by 143%.
