In the first day of summer in many countries International Children's Day is celebrated. Date is founded in 1949 in Paris by the decision of the congress International democratic federations of women, it was for the first time noted in 1950. Besides, to children are devoted the World day of the child (on November 20), the International day of innocent children — aggression victims (on June 4) and International Children's Day Africa (on June 16). But not only children have today the international holiday.
