The northern wall of Everest is subdued

This year at once two Russian expeditions visited the Himalayas. The northern wall of peak Zhanna (7710 m) in East Himalayas on a superdifficult exclusive route was overcome by team of climbers under the direction of Odintsova Alexandra. And Kozlov Victor laid a new route on the center to being considered earlier unapproachable Northern wall of Everest (8848). This third largest event in the history of domestic mountaineering after ascensions to Everest in 1982 and Kanchenjunga in 1989.
