World day of migratory birds

The world day of migratory birds celebrate twice a year – in October and in May, in months on which seasonal flights of birds fall. Originally the idea to celebrate day of migratory birds arose to United States of America in 1993. Security service fish resources and the wild animal United States of America, the Smithsonian center of migratory birds and Kornelsky laboratory of ornithology initiated celebration of the International day of migratory birds (International Migratory Bird Day, IMBD) for which educational programs in North America and South America are dated.
