The earth from space: desert cultivation

Mission of Copernicus Sentinel-2 imprinted El Oued, located in Algeria, in northern Sahara. This image was processed with use of the channel of near infrared range. The vegetation in a picture is allocated with the red color, thus irrigated vegetation differs a bright red shade, and not irrigated sites - more dark red tones. These areas which have grown with plants distinctly are allocated against the gold sandy dunes created by a wind.
