The Russian sambo wrestlers won 16 gold medals following the results of two days of the championship Europe which takes place in Haifa. In the first day of competitions gold medals in sports sambo were won by Alekhina Alena (to 59 kg), Gasparyan Angela (over 80 kg), Bagdasaryan Ruslan (to 64 kg) and Uali Kurzhev (to 79 kg). In fighting sambo caused a stir Aldar Namsaraev (to 58 kg), Zinnatov Rolan (to 71 kg), Medzhidov Dzhambulat (to 88 kg) and Kuramagomedov Shamil (to 98 kg).
