Chuvashs Saint Petersburg gave to the Russian national library a bust of the Sinologue Bichurin Nikita

On April 17 in Saint Petersburg in building the Russian national libraries exhibition "The sun of the Russian sinology – Bichurin Nikita " opened. The exposition is devoted to the first Russian Sinologue, the archimandrite RO Russian Orthodox church, to the chief of the 9th Spiritual mission in China to Bichurin Nikita (father Iakinf). It left the rich heritage reflected in scientific works on studying of language, local customs, traditions and history of the people of Heavenly Empire.
