Annual inflation in eurozone was slowed down to 6,9% in March

Annual inflation in 20 countries of eurozone following the results of February was slowed down to 6,9% after 8,5% in February and 8,6% in January. Recession of inflation is caused generally by sharp reduction of prices of energy carriers in comparison with March, 2022, Eurostat follows from a preliminary estimate. Growth rates of the prices of food products, alcohol and tobacco in annual expression were accelerated to 15,4% after 15% in February, and on services – to 5% after 4,8% a month earlier.
