The Russian fabulist Krylov Yvan in 1809 published the first book with the fables which included 23 works of this genre. Thanks to the edition Krylov Yvan borrowed visible and a place of honor in the Russian literature. In 1888 the emperor Alexander III during polygon tests made shots from Maxim's machine gun. "Test drive" took place successfully, and the weapon arrived on arms of the Russian army.
