Inflation in eurozone was slowed down to 8,5% in February

Annual inflation in the eurozone following the results of February was slowed down to 8,5% after 8,6% in January and 9,2% in December, 2022, Eurostat follows from a preliminary estimate. Food products, alcohol and tobacco rose in price in annual expression for 15% after 14,1% in January, not power industrial goods – for 6,8% after 6,7%, and services – for 4,8% after 4,4%. The rise in prices for energy carriers was thus slowed down to 13,7% after 18,9% a month earlier. The indicator of basic inflation (a rise in prices without energy and the food) grew from 5,3% in January to 5,6% in February. The lowest rates of inflation are recorded in Luxembourg...
