Academy sciences Moldova supported renaming of the Moldavian language in Romanian

Academy sciences Moldova (ANM) supported the offer "Solidarity and Action" Party (PAS) about renaming of the Moldavian language in Romanian in the state documents. In ANM added that their position is invariable. The statement is published on their site. "Return to legislative standard of the correct name of our language would put an end to infinite unnecessary discussions which go on this matter, to all speculation which are conducted within several decades, would improve image of our republic around the world and would provide its process the European integration" — is told in ANM statement.
